About Our Dental Practice

Chestnut Oak Dental is the inspiration of Dr. Mary Costigan and has its roots in the practice of Dr. Joseph Pirraglia, who has provided quality dentistry for Cold Spring since 1986. The primary focus of Chestnut Oak Dental is restorative and preventive dental care, with services including general, cosmetic, implant, and prosthodontic procedures.

We work in tandem with dental specialists in the area to coordinate optimal, customized treatment. In addition to Dr. Costigan, our team includes Gloria McVey, Bridget O'Brien, Jen MacEntee, Loretta Rizzo and Lori Greene, Lizzette Caro, and Judy Cummings.

Chestnut Oak Dental focuses on providing the services that we do best: restorative and preventive dentistry. We fix damaged teeth and replace missing teeth with various solutions, including bonding (tooth-colored fillings), crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, and dentures. Our goal is to provide each patient with the treatment they need to restore optimal health, function, and esthetics.

In order to better serve you, our office utilizes some of the latest technology that dentistry has to offer, including digital radiographs, intraoral cameras, and digital scanning. These devices not only allow us to be better able to diagnose issues and deliver care, but they also provide much-improved methods to educate patients about their own individual needs.
