Dr. Sara Skurnick is our well-respected orthodontist who has been treating children and adults in Staten Island and surrounding areas for over 30 years. If recommended, she provides early orthodontic treatment for children. Dr. Sara also provides traditional braces and Invisalign® clear braces for older teens and adults.

Many children benefit from sedation dentistry like nitrous oxide (sweet air or laughing gas). This supportive service helps the child feel calm. A calm child will have a more positive memory of the experience and allow our dentists to work most efficiently.
Some children have very special healthcare needs or extensive work that may best be addressed under general anesthesia. Staten Island Pediatric Dentistry has been providing hospital-based dentistry under the care of superb pediatric anesthesiologists since 1976.
